Can Alignor™ be used for metalworking as well?
Yes, Alignor™ can be used for light metalworking and welding setups where a 90° hold is needed, but it’s designed primarily for woodworking.
Does it leave marks on softer woods?
No, the anodised aluminium and smooth surfaces prevent marking, making it safe for softer woods like pine or cedar.
How many clamps do I need for cabinet making?
We recommend at least two Alignor™ clamps for basic box frames, but four will allow you to square up larger cabinets more efficiently.
How to use
- Position the Alignor™ clamp on the corner of your wood panels.
- Adjust the L-bolt until the clamp holds the panels firmly at 90°.
- Apply glue if needed, then leave the clamp on while the adhesive cures.
- Remove the clamp and continue with assembly or finishing.
